Status of congenital heart dis

Speaker: Professor Gu Hong of China in Beijing anzhen hospital is not currently an estimated 4 million cases of treatment of congenital heart disease patients, 150,000 cases of increasing each year, more than half of which is not in the treatment of adult congenital disease, and every year, 50,000-60,000 patients for surgical treatment, about 20,000 patients undergoing interventional therapy. And abroad the largest difference is that most adult patients presenting congenital heart disease is the first time. Currently aims of our efforts expanding scope of effective clinical services to establish compliance training mechanism, improving patient education, encourage more professionals engaged in adult congenital clinic, establishment of adult congenital registration systems, improving health benefits.
